Penny the Penguin Free Crochet Pattern

Penny the Penguin is Mr. Blueberrys little cousin! She’s super excited for christmas and would like you to try her easy pattern so she can experience the holidays with you!

Who else is excited for Christmas? Growing up, we didn’t really celebrate christmas but I loved looking through the window at all the pretty lights around the neighbourhood. There’s just something so magical about those twinkling lights that is so dreamy.

Penny Parts

Wrapping Up:

Time to sew all your parts together! I sewed the beak on the 2nd row beneath the eyes, The belly, 2 rows beneath the beak and if you look at the photos, the belly wraps underneath a little bit. The arms are on the same row as the top of the belly so it’s an easy guide to follow.

For the scarf, wrap the scarf around Penny and find where the scarf overlaps, take it off and sew a little notch to keep the ends together. You can leave it like that so it’s easily removable or you can sew it around Penny for a more permanent fix.

Penny measures approx. 3”W x 5”H

I hope Penny makes your holidays a little bit brighter! Make sure to tag me on Instagram @illuminecreative or Facebook with your finished pieces, I’d love to see them!
