Check out this great video on how to do a color change

If you are not doing a color change continue with a SC in the next 9 rows for a total of 16 rows

End with 3 SLST to make a smoother edge.

You can stop here if you’d rather have a normal basket but we are going to make ours into a bear!

Rnd 3: SC in the next ST, INC, Repeat 6 times (18sc) Finish with 1 SLST.

Sew ears onto the basket 16 Sts apart this is just a recommendation, you can decide for yourself if you’d like them closer together or further apart.

Wrapping Up:

Embroider on the eyes and nose, I decided to do ours as a sleepy bear, I think it’s just so much cuter that way.

Weave in all loose yarn ends, I like to bring the yarn needle through the back loops only that way it holds the yarn end tighter and hides it better.
